Congratulations on being accepted for short-term Global Study Abroad!
During your time here you can be sure of the following:

A great opportunity to study at a university abroad
Expert staff and educators dedicated to providing you a wonderful experience
A commitment to ensure you are satisfied and comfortable during your stay
The excitement of meeting new friends and learning about life on campus in a new country.
Arriving Abroad:

You should arrive at the university in time to start the international orientation, but no more than 30 days prior to the start date of the program listed on your student visa.

Remember to bring your university acceptance letter and visa documents with you on the plane.
Be clear about where you are going and what you intend to study; you may be asked by an immigration officer what you intend to do while you are abroad.
You may want to plan transportation to your selected campus prior to your departure. Travel from the nearest airport may require extra planning.
Contact your international student advisor or office on campus when you arrive.
Arriving on your new campus:

  • If you arrive earlier than the program date specified by the university, you will be responsible for arranging your own accommodations, at your own expense, until the university accommodations become available.
  • If you arrive on campus within regular office hours please report to the international student advisor or office.
  • If you arrive after regular office hours please report to the campus safety office and they will assist you.
